Installation overview

Our installation offering enables you to define the precise scope of service that you require, whether it relates to a single location or a global roll-out. Whilst the majority of customers choose to outsource the entire installation activity to us, should you wish to undertake particular elements using your in-house resource, we are happy to work with your team in undertaking the remaining activities.

Installations can be undertaken during prime time and/or outside of business hours.

Installation service elements

The following represent the typical high-level core activities we provide within a full installation service:

  • Programme planning and co-ordination with your representatives and all relevant third parties
  • De-box, inspection and registration
  • Pre-staging and configuration against documented Statement of Work
  • Distribution of equipment to site to programme timelines
  • On-site installation and commissioning of hardware
  • Attachment of physical interfaces
  • Validation of network interfaces
  • Unit-level power-up and functionality check
  • Hardware availability testing
  • Hand-over to your representatives for validation and acceptance
  • Acceptance sign-off

    Remote installation support

Should you choose to undertake all physical installation activity using in-house resources, we are able to minimise your business risk by providing you with remote installation support.

This service comprises:

  • Identification of a single IP address for a single protocol
  • Remote configuration download, allowing a ping test to the network
  • Remote assistance to help identify root-cause of any problem
